Ignite Youth Leadership Conference

Who?
Any 7th-12th graders are welcome to attend.
What?
Ignite Youth Conference is a yearly multi-state Christian Youth Conference for student leaders, volunteers, and youth workers. Yes, Ignite was designed with the whole youth ministry in mind. The theme for this year’s Ignite Youth Leadership Conference is Faith.
When?
March 8-10th. We will leave the Bridge parking lot at 11:30am on Friday, March 8th (this will require early out from school for some). We will return home to the Bridge parking lot on Sunday, March 10th around 1pm.
Where?
We will be traveling to Des Moines, IA, for the conference, which is at Grace Church: 4200 E 25th St, Des Moines, IA 50317.
We will stay at the Embassy Suites Hotel: 101 East Locust Street, Des Moines, IA 50309.
With the extra night in Des Moines this year, we’ll be able to grab dinner after the conference (it ends at 5pm on Saturday) and head back to the hotel and enjoy the complementary snack bar and have the opportunity to play some games, swim, and/or have some good conversations.
Why?
This conference is a great weekend getaway to grow deeper in our relationship with the Lord as well as deeper in our friendships with each other.
Saturday night after the conference (it ends at 5pm on Saturday), we’ll be able to grab dinner and head back to the hotel and have the opportunity to play some games, swim, and/or have some good conversations.
Cost: $150/student
Cost includes conference ticket and hotel, which also includes a full breakfast both Saturday and Sunday morning as well as a complimentary reception each evening from 5:30-7:30pm in their Sky Lobby atrium. The reception includes free beverages and snacks, which range each evening. Snacks include: trail mixes, fresh cut fruits/veggies, chips and dips, and much more. Students should bring money and/or snacks for the trip down and trip home and dinner on Friday and Saturday.
