The People of the Kingdom | Luke 11:27-36
Luke 11:27–36 - In this message, Pastor Rob confronts the danger of a hardened heart that demands signs while ignoring the Savior standing right in front of them. Jesus redirects a woman’s praise from His mother to the deeper blessing of those who hear and obey God's Word. He then warns that seeking signs without surrender leads to blindness—even religious people can miss Him. Through references to Jonah and Solomon, Rob reminds us that the resurrection is the sign we've been given, and Jesus is greater than any prophet or king. The light of Christ has come; now, the question is whether we are taking it in or choosing darkness. True discipleship is not about what we know, but about walking in the light of Jesus day by day.
Am I seeking Jesus—or just seeking signs, feelings, or experiences?
Is my life full of light, or am I ignoring areas still gripped by darkness?
How is God calling me to not only hear His Word, but to live it?
