To Live Is Christ | Acts 16:1–10
Acts 16:1–10 - As we begin a new series in Philippians, Pastor Rob takes us back to the story behind the letter—Paul’s Spirit-led journey to Philippi. Through Acts 16, we witness the beauty and tension of obedience: disagreements between faithful brothers, unexpected closed doors, and surprising new partnerships. Yet, through it all, the Holy Spirit is guiding. Rob challenges us to live open-handed, surrendering our preferences, comforts, and even good plans so that God can do His deeper work. Like Paul inviting Timothy to remove barriers for the sake of the gospel, we too must ask: what am I willing to lay down so that Christ might be seen more clearly through me? And when God redirects us, do we obey immediately—or delay out of fear or convenience? The kingdom advances not through ease, but through people willing to say yes when the Spirit speaks. Questions to Consider: What might the Spirit be asking me to surrender for the sake of the gospel? Am I walking with others in discipleship—or trying to follow Jesus alone? When God redirects my plans, do I obey with joy or reluctance?
